The Wishing Wall

This meditative sculpture, located at the Shepherd Spinal Center in Atlanta, Ga. was commissioned by a family in memory of their son, a talented musician who died at an early age due to the complications of scioliosis. I designed it to be embracing in form, with built-in benches for seating and a bronze plaque with a drawer inset to offer a place to put prayers in the wall. The center of the sculpture floor has a cast glass light, inset with gemstones to suggest a healing source of light.
