For an exhibition at a cultural center in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I created an 14 ft. tall neon ladder on one wall of the space, & added concrete pavers on the floor, & a symbolic illuminated archeological site with animal bones & a small ceramic ladder in one area of the space. Without my prior knowledge, the remains of the "desaparecidos", the people who were murdered & disappeared in the 1970's, were being excavated in the city at the time.
